I CAN programmes help schools and early years settings develop communication skills across the curriculum, and narrow the gap between the lowest and highest attaining children.
I CAN provides early years training which supports children 0-5. The training is for practitioners working in early years settings.
Early Talk Boost is a targeted intervention aimed at 3-4 year old children with delayed language development helping to boost their language skills to help narrow the gap between them and their peers.
I CAN provides primary years training which supports children aged 5-11 . The training is for staff working in primary schools.
Talk Boost KS2 is a targeted intervention for children in Years 3, 4 and 5 (7-10 year olds) who have delayed language development, aiming to boost their language skills to help them to catch up with their peers
I CAN provides secondary years training which supports children aged 11-19. The training is for staff working in secondary schools.
TalkAbout Talk Secondary is anevidenced intervention that helps students aged 14 to 18 with communicationdifficulties to develop the communication skills they need for the work place. Available January 2018
I CAN’s Talk for Work Profile is a way of profiling student’s strengths and difficulties in the communication skills needed for the workplace. The Profile is designed to be used with students in Year 9 and above.
