Workplace Training

I CAN's training courses can be tailored specifically to your needs and delivered at your workplace or a convenient local venue. Bespoke and tailored courses can also be developed and delivered to meet training needs.

Workplace Training is time- and cost-effective, enabling your staff to share training, jump-start changes in practice as a result of learning together, and minimise the time investment required.

Course delivery can also be supplemented by opportunities to observe practice in one of I CAN's Special Schools in Nottinghamshire or Surrey.

I CAN Provides:

• One or more tutors delivering a course to meet your specifications in terms of content, depth and timing. Tutors are leading practitioners, experts and academics drawn from the fields of communication and education
• Course materials (including visual aids and handouts)
  Training evaluation
• If required, a course flyer to support internal promotion.

You Provide:

• A brief for the training requirements (in conjunction with I CAN)
• A suitable venue
• Accommodation and travel costs for tutors
• Presentation equipment (typically an overhead projector/PowerPoint, screen and flipchart)
• Refreshments and lunch for participants.

Fees
Costs for a one day Workplace Training course start from £1,200 for up to 25 participants.

Additional fees may apply for:

• Extra course delegates
• A tailor-made course
• More than one tutor delivering the course
• Use of extra resources.
