Training for the children's workforce

I CAN understands that to support children we have to support the professionals that work with them. We have developed a workforce development programme to meet the needs of practitioners who work with children. We use the experience of our staff, many of whom work in direct service delivery, and our associates who are experts in the field. This enables us to bring together a comprehensive programme.

Our programme covers early years, school aged children and young people. Our training relateds to the National Qualifications Framework and supports the Children's Workforce Strategy. It links to the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Primary and Secondary National Strategies and targets for further education.
