Mentoring and Support

I CAN will support local authorities/children’s trusts/services and settings by working in partnership to improve the provision for children aged 0 – 3.

I CAN Consultancy can be used in a number of different ways. This is agreed between the local steering group and the I CAN Consultant and may include:

• Attendance at Steering group meetings / Strategic development meetings
• Presentations
• Delivery of the Parents in Partnership for Early Communication Development course
• Delivery of the Working with Children Under 3 course
• Delivery of the Resources and strategies for working with parents course
• Mentoring individual settings through Early Talk accreditation
• Mentoring individual Children’s Centres using the Children’s Centre Quality Tool
