Volunteering
Our work would be significantly harder without the support we receive from volunteers across the UK.
Volunteers are incredibly important to I CAN and we are constantly looking for committed people who are prepared to give some of their time to work with us and further our aims.
There are many ways to volunteer at I CAN.
You could volunteer to work directly with our children and young people or help in our central office in London. Opportunities often arise in the areas of Human Resources, Press and PR, Marketing, Fundraising and Training.
There are lots of ways of lending a helping hand to I CAN – and they could benefit you too!

Volunteering in our Schools
We have a number of different volunteering opportunities at our schools. Why not give your time to supporting pupils during lessons, lunchtimes or after school?
We are also looking for people to help with administrative duties within our schools.

Volunteering in your Community
You can raise funds and awareness by taking part in one of I CAN’s sporting events from Trekking Snowdon to running the London Marathon. We have guaranteed places in a range of sought after running events. Sign up now.
We are always looking for more people to get involved in their community from taking part in local runs to putting on their own events like cake sales, sweepstakes or fancy dress parties. Committees or groups who wish to work in the local community raising awareness and fundraising for I CAN are equally welcome. Please contact Claire James for more information.
I CAN loves to support its fundraisers by giving them full support on their race day or at their event. You can join us at our cheering point or give us a hand setting up on the day. Please contact Claire James for more information.
All events and community volunteers receive full support from I CAN including fundraising packs, sponsor forms, t-shirts, fundraising materials like balloons and your own dedicated contact at head office.
