What is I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge?
The Chatterbox Challenge is I CAN’s fundraising event for 0 – 11 year olds.
In 2010 there will be singing and signing activities, drama, story-telling and games.
Who is the Chatterbox Challenge for?
Children aged between 0 & 11, thousands of nurseries, children’s groups and primary schools take part every year.
New in 2010 - the Primary school activities support the national curriculum as well as QCA objectives for speaking and listening.
The activities have been designed to work as assemblies and some of the songs and drama activities will work well as performances for parents in nurseries and children’s groups.
What is the theme for 2010?
In 2010 the Chatterbox Challenge activities take the theme of Minibeasts and the garden. Fascinating for children and adults alike, this theme will link in heavily with much planned topic work in schools and nurseries as well as giving everyone a good excuse to get outside and learn about how bugs help us every day.
When does it take place?
February 2010 is Chatterbox Challenge month.
This is when most groups taking part will hold their event. If February isn’t convenient for you, don’t worry. We’re really happy for you to arrange your Chatterbox Challenge whenever suits you best.
