Developed in the light of research, policy changes, work within I CAN's schools and feedback from training courses, I CAN's publications and resources are designed to assist professionals and parents in developing an understanding of children's speech, language and communication needs and in answering any concerns about a child's development.

I CAN also provide information for parents and professionals living or working with a child with speech and language difficulties.

I CAN Talk Series

I CAN Talk is a series of papers exploring contemporary issues in children's communication development and disability. I CAN Talk papers review current reserarch and literature and offer practical evidence-based solutions to inform debate and to support practitioners, parents and policy makers. The first stop online for parents and professionals seeking information about speech, language and communication difficulties in children. Talking Point is run by I CAN, working with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and Afasic.
