The Communication Trust Conference - Developing a workforce to support speech, language and communication for all children

This Communication Trust[ii] conference, sponsored by the BT Better World Campaign and facilitated by I CAN, the children’s communication charity provided an opportunity to explore the issue of workforce development in the context of speech, language and communication (SLC) for all children.  BT Better World Campaign

Speakers include:

  • John Bercow, Head of the Bercow Review for Children & Young People with SLCN and Conservative MP for Buckingham
  • Chris Beek, Programme Director of SEN Team, National Strategies
  • Marie Gascoigne, Councillor of Policy and Partnership, RCSLT
  • Anne Harrison,  National Development Manager for Social Care, CWDC
  • Anita Kerwin-Nye, Director, The Communication Trust
