Primary Talk Training

Primary Talk training is cost effective and time efficient as it is delivered at a time and place convenient to you. It enables your staff to share learning and quickly implement changes in practice ensuring maximum impact on children.

I CAN Provides:

  • Tutors who are leading practitioners, experts and academics drawn from the fields of communication and education
  • Course materials including useful resources, visual aids and handouts
  • Six months follow up support and training evaluation

You Provide:

  • A suitable venue
  • Presentation equipment (typically a laptop, an overhead projector for PowerPoint screen and flipchart)
  • Refreshments and lunch for participants

Supportive Communication Train the Trainer

This option allows experienced trainers with knowledge about SLCN (enhanced level SLCF) to become licensed to deliver Primary Talk Supportive Communication Training. The training can then be rolled out across schools allowing you more flexibility. Find out more >

Enhanced Communication Training

A course for those working with primary school children, which builds on existing speech, communication and language skills and also aims to develop skills to support children with identified, mild and moderate SLCN. Find out more >
