The Million Lost Voices Appeal needs you now.
Right now, in classrooms in deprived areas across the UK, more than 50% of children start school with poor language skills.
We need to, and can, change this.
This year, with your help, the Million Lost Voices Appeal will roll out
Talk Boost
with the objective of reaching 100,000 vulnerable learners across 1,440 schools over the next 4 years.
The funds raised through the Million Lost Voices Appeal in 2012/13 will sponsor the training of 180 Speech & Language Therapists as Licensed Talk Boost Tutors. In doing so, we will put in place a UK-wide network of experts who will pass on the know-how to teachers and teaching assistants and support us in reaching as many children as possible.

In 2011, the Million Lost Voices Appeal set out to transform the lives of children across the UK who are struggling because of their communication difficulties. Thanks to your support, I CAN did just this.
