Join I CAN for the Chatterbox Challenge 2013

and host a Mad Chatter's Tea Party with Humf

I CAN is inviting hundreds of thousands of little Chatterboxes to take part in its annual fun and educational fundraising event for nurseries, pre-schools, childminders and community groups.

Children will be encouraged to get sponsored for singing songs and rhymes around a tea-time theme. This year's Chatterbox Challenge is joined by Humf, the furry little character from the popular pre-school TV series currently airing on Nick Jr.

Chatterbox Challenge week is 1st – 8th March 2013 and most groups will be holding their challenge during this time. You can however hold yours at any time throughout the year.

I CAN speech and language therapists and teachers have developed the activities for the challenge. The lesson plans, which involve Humf and his friends, link to key aspects of the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) including Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
