The Trust at Work

At the end of 2008 The Communication Trust was looking at what resources practitioners needed to support all children's communication skills and those with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This was particularly for practitioners in secondary schools.

We offered members of the Consortium small grants between £10,000 and £30,000 to expand on resources that they were already working on for practitioners in secondary schools. The reasoning was twofold: to support work that was already happening in this area and to make recommendations on the format and content for any other resources that anyone was developing for secondary schools.

All five recipients have completed an end of project report, summarising what they did, the impact and any recommendations.
