I CAN understands that to support children we have to support the professionals that work with them. I CAN has therefore established a workforce development programme to meet the needs of practitioners who work with children who have speech, language and communication needs. Our programme covers early years, school aged-children and young people. Our training relates to the National Qualifications Framework and supports the Children's Workforce Strategy. It links to the delivery of the Early Years, Primary and Secondary curricula and strategies and targets for further education.
