Description
Signalong is a sign-supporting system communication which helps children and adults with language and speech problems. Signing publications use a system of describing the signs which makes the whole vocabulary accessible without having to attend classes every time new signs are needed. Signalong has the largest sign vocabulary published in Europe, ranging from pre-school up to independent living and employment. The charity publishes visual communication resources, including picture and symbol materials, with videos and CDs available. Local tutors in most parts of Britain are able to deliver training, and the charity also provides free sign research and advice to users.
