The Ear Foundation is the only national UK charity to support and to provide activities for deaf children and young people with cochlear implants, their families and supporting professionals. We provide: -Information on cochlear implantation for families from throughout the UK -Support groups and activities for deaf children and young people with cochlear implants and their families -Workshops and training for families to help them support their children to gain maximum benefit from cochlear implantation -Workshops and training for the whole range of professionals involved in cochlear implantation, ensuring informed and up-to-date support for deaf children with cochlear implants wherever they live in the UK -Research and development into the latest techniques to support children with cochlear implants
