These funds will enable us to launch life-changing new programmes to transform the lives of the million children who are suffering because of a difficulty speaking or understanding. Star fundraisers of the month

An Audience with Colin Firth

I CAN's year got off to a fantastic start with the most enchanted evening with Colin Firth. Over 70 guests attended the intimate evening at High Road House, in Chiswick to watch renowned film critic Barry Norman interviewing Oscar winning actor, Colin Firth. They were a brilliant double act, with the chemistry between them making the interview and whole evening extremely special.

London Chamber Orchestra Concert

Christopher Holder (I CAN Trustee and Million Lost Voices Appeal Chair) and Martin Lovegrove (I CAN Trustee) hosted a wonderful concert and reception with the London Chamber Orchestra in aid of the Million Lost Voices Appeal.

I CAN were delighted to hold the event with the London Chamber Orchestra following their performance at the Royal Wedding earlier this year. The audience were also treated to a wonderful performance by winning solo trumpeter Alison Balsom.

Million Lost Voices Appeal Gala Concert and Dinner at Mansion House

Thanks to the City of London Sinfonia, sublime performances from Michael Collins, Sarah Connolly and the stunning surroundings of Mansion House, the Million Lost Voices Appeal Gala was a truly special occasion for I CAN.  But most importantly it was special because the evening has raised over £125,000 towards I CAN's Million Lost Voices Appeal.

This is a great achievement for the Appeal and as Barry Norman explained on the evening, it will transform the lives of children living, and struggling, with communication difficulties across the UK. So a heartfelt thank you goes to all those that supported the evening for your kind and generous support, I CAN is extremely grateful.
