This trek leads to the top of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales - said to be the burial place of the giant ogre Rhita, slain by King Arthur.

We will be supported by trained mountain guides who will expertly guide us to the top. This moderate one-day walk takes approximately 6-8 hours, with the breathtaking reward of the views along the summit ridge.

Highlights:

At the summit you will have one of the world’s greatest panoramas at your feet. On very clear days you can even see as far as the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Includes:

  • Two nights accommodation at YHA Pen y Pass, once the haunt of famous Victorian climbers like George Mallory.
  • All meals, including a packed lunch for the day of the trek
  • Fully qualified mountain guides
  • Full event briefing on the Friday evening
