The Early Talk Network Pilot

In 2003 I CAN began researching and planning for the pilot of a new programme to promote networking and practice sharing between early years practitioners.

The pilot phase of the project ran during the summer term 2004 (April to July). During that time I CAN worked with three early years development and childcare partnerships (EYDCPs) and the staff within their areas. Various activities and programmes were trialled in these areas including training days and new resources. These pilot activities were evaluated between August and October 2004. The results of this evaluation contributed to the development of I CAN Early Talk.
